2021年12月北京のタン・コンテンポラリーで行われた江上越の個展「At the moment of Misunderstantidng , All the masks fall」図録。

図録には建畠 晢（埼玉県立近代美術館館長）、Jerome Sans（パレド・トーキョー前館長）、らの本展に向けたテキストを収録。

江上は1994年生まれ、千葉県出身。現在、中国の清華大学ポストドクターに在籍。2021年にはForbes Asiaが選ぶ「世界を変える30歳未満の30人」に最年少アーティストとして選出され、パリやロンドン、ニューヨークでも個展を開催するなど、国際的な活躍を見せている。 江上は、海外での自身の経験をもとに、コミュケーションをテーマとする作品を発表し続け、近年では肖像画においてその本質を問いながら絵画表現の可能性を追求。そして、様々な社会経済システムの問題が露呈する今日の状況を踏まえ、芸術表現を通して改めて日本の近代化の在り方を見つめ直そうと試みている。

Exhibition catalogue of Etsu Egami solo show "At The Moment of Mishearing, All the Masks Fall"  in Tan contemporary on December 2021.

This catalogue contains the text for Akira Tatehata (the director of the Museum of modern art, Saitama) and Jerome sans (former director of Tokyo University of Tokyo) etc.

Etsu Egami was born in 1994 and came from Chiba Prefecture. In 2024 she got the “Artist to Watch 2024” by Prestige Hong Kong and Prestige Singapore, In 2023 she got “the Most talented young artist prize“ (BBART), In 2021 she was selected as the youngest artist in " Forbes Asia 30  under 30 " , and she exhibited international exhibitions in Paris, London and New York. Etsu Egami continues to publish works based on his experiences in foreign countries. Based on today's situation in which various problems of socioeconomic system are exposed, we try to look back on the way Japan modernizes Japan through art expression.
